Bonsai care information

-Place your bonsai in a location that receives bright, indirect or direct sunlight. They prefer warm temperatures between 60°F (15°C) and 85°F (29°C). Protect the tree from freezing temperatures and drafts.

-Watering: Keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Bonsai trees generally require more frequent watering compared to large plants. Water thoroughly until the water drains out of the bottom drainage holes. We recommend to water daily.

-Pruning: Regular pruning is essential to maintain the bonsai's shape and size. Trim back new growth to maintain the desired shape and remove any dead or damaged branches. Prune after flowering.

-Wiring (optional): Use soft, coated bonsai wire to gently shape the branches. Wrap the wire around the branch and bend it carefully to create the desired shape. Be cautious not to damage the bark or restrict the tree's growth.

-Fertilization: Feed your bonsai with a balanced, slow-release bonsai fertilizer during the growing season (spring to fall). Follow the product instructions for the appropriate dosage and frequency.

-Repot your bonsai every 1.5 to 2 years, ideally during early spring before new growth appears.

-Common pests that can affect bonsai include aphids, scale insects, and spider mites. Regularly inspect your tree for signs of infestation and treat any problems promptly with appropriate organic or chemical solutions.
